About us

Good Fabrications Ltd (now known as Good Fabs) was set up as a specialist motorsports exhaust fabricator in Langley, UK in 1984 with the specific aim of fabricating race exhaust systems for high performance race cars. The business was started by Steve Good, who had previously worked as a fabricator for McLaren.

Between 1984 and 2009 Good Fabs has made components and race exhaust systems for a number of motorsport teams from F1 to Formula Student. We supply anything from a small quantity of custom made bends for a car enthusiast to over 100 full exhaust sets for an entire race series.  In the US Good Fabs has worked in both Indy car and NASCAR and currently supplies one of the leading teams.

After Steve Good’s tragic death in a helicopter accident in November 1999, the company was inherited by his wife Angie Good, who is now the sole owner of the business.

Since 1999 Good Fabs has been successfully managed and run by Warren Briggs and Phil Levett who have invested in tube bending equipment and a skilled workforce to make Good Fabs a leader in the supply of custom exhaust parts to exhaust fabricators, car and bike enthusiasts and motorsports teams worldwide.

In May 2009 Neil Morgan took over as Managing Director from Warren Briggs, who continues to work in a non-executive capacity.

Although best known for its work in the automotive world Good Fabs also works in the defence, aerospace and marine industry.

Good Fabs is a member of the Motorsports Industry Association and employs Mark Claussner in Charlotte, NC as its US representative.
