Motorsport teams
Good Fabs has supplied Formula 1 teams with everything from inconel bends to fully finished systems since 1984. More recently we have made the primaries, tailpipes and megaphones for the new F2 series starting in 2009. We supply one of the most successful NASCAR teams with complete systems. We make parts for WRC cars and supply bends and silencers to LMP teams.
Race Exhaust Fabricators
As we manufacture our own tube and have extensive bend tooling (see
bend tool list or
request a quote) we create bends and collectors to suit the needs of the most demanding race exhaust fabricators. We also sell lamda bosses, step rings, clamps, links and tags (see online shop)
Racing drivers and enthusiasts
In our 25 year history we have made exhaust systems and parts for many race cars and motorbikes. We have the experience to help design and create custom solutions for competitors and enthusiasts. We regularly receive faxes of hand drawn systems, which we discuss over the phone nor by email and may result in the provision of custom bends, straights, collectors, tailpipes or silencers. Alternatively we can work from a CAD model (see Formula Student), or work on an existing system or car at our own workshop (see Caterham) on the Bucks/Oxfordshire border. (link to location).
Historic
During our 25 years history we have supplied race exhausts to such an extensive range of race cars that we are sometimes asked to supply parts that we made for original cars but that are now party of historic race series. More typically we help create the parts to recreate a system that is no longer available or that is being lovingly restored to the highest specification.
Defence, Marine and Aerospace
Our team of skilled fabricators and welders have worked on various bespoke projects ranging from roll cages and nerf bars for armoured vehicles to test parts for commercial airliners. We are actively seeking work in the defence and marine sector and will be
exhibiting at the Defence Vehicle Day at Millbrook .
Design and creative
Good Fabs have recently made custom staircase balustrades, fake anchor chains, cow shaped bicycle racks and door handles for top-of-the-range trucks. We like to be challenged and welcome projects that involve design input as well as custom bending and skilled fabrication.
