Good Fabrications Commits to the USA
International Motorsports Industry Show, Indianapolis, Dec 8
- 10th December 2011
Leading racecar exhaust systems supplier, Good Fabrications has
underlined its commitment to North America with the opening of a
3,000 sq ft purpose built workshop in Mooresville, North Carolina,
home of many of the leading NASCAR teams.
Good Fabrications has long regarded the USA as an important
market. Its North American arm, Good Fabrications LLC, previously
operated a workshop in the Indianapolis Gasoline Alley, reflecting
the fact that it has, in the past, supplied exhausts systems to
every single car on the Indy 500 grid.
The company is a supplier to leading NASCAR teams, including
Inconel headers for Joe Gibbs Racing with whom it has worked for
nine years. Joe Gibbs now enters Toyotas in Sprint Cup and Good
Fabs has become an approved TRD supplier.
Its work for the World Rally Championship winning Prodrive team
means that amongst its other US customers is the USA Subaru Team,
Vermont Sportscar Rallying that competes in ESPN's X Games as well
as Pro-Stock bike drag racing teams. The Mooresville operation is
enabling Good Fabs to expand its NASCAR business while placing it
in an ideal position to take advantage of the opportunities opening
up in North American open-wheel racing.
The shop is located at 170-A Raceway Drive, Mooresville. Heading
the operation there is Good Fabs' US representative, racecar and
stunt car driver, Mark Claussner. He is assisted by fully trained,
local staff.
Good Fabrications is demonstrating its commitment at the
Indianapolis Motor Show, which is taking place from December
8-10th, 2011 at the Indianapolis Convention Center, Indianapolis,
USA. Manning the stand (2041), in addition to Mark, will be
workshop manager and company director Phil Levett.
