Glickenhaus SCG 709 gets podium at the 24Hours of Le Mans 2022

Pipo Moteurs, the famous French engine builders, are responsible for building this exquisite twin-turbo, 3.5 litre V8 specifically for the 007C. This superb engine paired with excellent drivers from Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus lead to a 3rd and 4th place finish in the hyper car series.

The picture to the left shows just how meticulously designed this engine is and the rally knowledge Pipo Moteurs brought across from their cylinder head architecture I4 WRC rally engines.

This was just Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus' second appearance in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, going against long standing teams like Alpine and Toyota so to achieve what they have is an incredible achievement.

Goodfabs are proud to have supplied Pipo Moteurs with bespoke pieces that have combined to create the podium-placed engine. The race itself was dramatic as it always is with 24 hours of gruelling racing pushing the car and engine to its limit. We would like to congratulate Glickenhaus and look forward to them challenging title winners Toyota Gazoo Racing next year.
